First time buyers increasingly competing with buy to let investors

Research published online by MSN Money shows that first time buyers increasingly are competing with buy to let investors.

David Blake of Which? Mortgage Advisers emphasises the importance of speaking to an independent mortgage adviser: It’s vitally important that people who are buying a property to live in understand the market they are buying in.

It’s a sellers’ market and so buying has become incredibly fast paced and competitive.

In light of this, I would urge buyers to put themselves in a position to act quickly and speaking to an independent mortgage adviser is a great place to start.

The cost of a mortgage is important but service and reliability of lending in this fast paced market must also be taken into consideration, this is where seeking advice can be the difference between buying and missing out.”
